A Special Message from Hannah McPhaul, VP of Neighborhood Outreach

From the JJ Pearce HOA Facebook Group (Aug. 14, 2021):

Hello JJP Community! I wanted to share this message from my friend Lacy Cornali, about a family in the Reservation neighborhood:

Hi Neighbors.  Many of you know the Childs Family on Apache. Beth & Derek’s 6 year old son, Luke, has been going through treatments for AML (leukemia) for the last several months, and was recently sent home on hospice care.  Beth is a lifelong friend of mine, and we are all devastated.  The lovely neighbors on their street have decided to wrap their trees with orange bows (since it’s Luke’s favorite color), to show our love and support for their family during this time.  Please join us in flooding our neighborhood with orange bows to show them how much they are loved.  If you don’t have a tree, put a bow on a door or in a window. 🧡
